Kathmandu-Pokhara 5 nights 6 days package MAP plan
Day 1: Arrival
- Pick-up from the international airport by our representative then transfer to Hotel.
- After check-in at the Hotel, a briefing about your Tours. Info: Kathmandu is the largest and capital City of Nepal. Kathmandu valley consists of three main cities of great historic and cultural interest Kathmandu, Lalitpur (Patan) and Bhaktapur (Bhadgaon). The Kathmandu valley was accorded the status of a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1979.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu City Sightseeing
- After breakfast, start Kathmandu Valley sightseeing by private vehicle.
- First you will visit Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath temple is the one of the biggest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world located on the banks of the Bagmati River.
- Then you will visit Boudhanath Stupa. It is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu.
- Then you will visit Swayambhunath stupa. (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) The Swayambhunath area is surrounded not only by the stupa but many temples, shrines, Tibetan monasteries and statues of different gods.
- Finally you visit Patan’s central Durbar Square. It is absolutely packed with temples. It’s an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter.
Day 3: Travel to Pokhara
- Check-in at Hotel then visit Lakeside.
- Stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing
- Early morning 5 AM Drive to Sarangkot (1 hr) for the Sunrise. With the view from Sarangkot you can see the Himalaya and Annapurna Range.
- Then return back to the hotel for breakfast.
- After breakfast there will be Sightseeing at Gupteshor cave, David’s fall, Seti River, Tibetan camp etc.
- The evening will be free for Boating in the Fewa Lake if you wish.
- Overnight stay in Pokhara
Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu
- Leave for Kathmandu after breakfast.
- Check-in at the Hotel.
- The evening will be free for some short walks or shopping.
Day 6: Departure
- You will be dropped off at the Airport. There is also the possibility of extending the package with other packages or just extending the stay.
Price List
- Per person INR 19,000 (2-3 person)
- Per person INR 15,000 (4 or more people)
The plan includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner. The price doesn’t include lunch, entrance tickets, activities like boating.
This package can be extended with many other options. The most popular one being a trip to Chitwan before heading to Pokhara. The package above will remain as it is, except that you will travel to Chitwan on Day 3 and stay there. The other details are the same. The price for the total extended package including Chitwan will be as follows:
